Thanks, Rotary!

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Cumberland Centennial and all those who came out to support the Boys & Girls Club in Cumberland on August 14 & 15.

Rotary members served up beef on a bun, salads and hot dogs on Saturday night, and a fabulous pancake breakfast Sunday.  All proceeds go towards a van for Children’s Programs at the Club.

  • Friday August 6 Canadian Tire 1-3 pm  Hot Dogs & Pop

  • Saturday, August 14 Cumberland Village Square 4-6:30pm  Beef on a Bun, Salad, Hot Dogs

  • Sunday August 15 Cumberland Village Square 10 am to 1 pm  Pancakes, sausage, juice & coffee.

AND August 29th is the “Jam for a Van”

An all ages concert fundraiser at the Linc 1–4 pm

Volunteers Needed!

We are currently seeking positive and responsible adults from various backgrounds, and in exchange for your commitment of two hours a week for a minimum of eight weeks we can promise you fun, excitement, and free food. The invaluable self fulfilling experience of volunteering with youth can also be a reward in itself, or if you already have a wealth of experience and expertise in this area, then please take this opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with others in your community.

2nd Annual Crown Isle Golf Club Garage Sale!!

Date: Sunday, March 28th, 9:00AM to 1:00PM

Where: Crown Isle Clubhouse in the underground cart barn (rain or shine!)

Donations can be dropped off prior to the sale:

  • Tuesday, March 23rd to Thursday March 25th (9:00am to 1:00pm) at The Comox Valley Boys & Girls Club Office, 367 11th street in Courtenay.

  • Saturday, March 27th (10:00AM and 4:00PM) at Crown Isle bag drop in the main parking lot or under cover by the Pro Shop if the weather is poor.

  • Volunteers are available to pick up larger items at your home.

Proceeds of the sale to support:

  • The Comox Valley Boys & Girls Club

  • Unsold or unclaimed items will be donated to The Comox Valley Transitions Society
